We are Community Response Australia Inc.

Powered by multicultural volunteers

For the last 25 years Sunny and Anju Duggal have been providing food and personal essentials relief  to individuals and families across Victoria. They have partnered with many organisations to deliver this relief.

Over the years they have developed deep connections into Victoria’s multicultural communities to the point that when community leaders need support for their communities they contact Sunny and Anju.

Sunny and Anju have come together with other like minded community members to form Community Response Australia Inc. With this background Community Response Australia Inc. is able to both identify and act in response to emerging needs in these communities and is also fortunate to draw on the support of these communities when we need volunteers.

In the last few years the demand for our services has increased dramatically starting with the floods, the bushfires and now the COVID-19 pandemic.

During the floods we provided food relief to over 300 families. During the bushfires we distributed over 11 tons of foods across East Gippsland, equating to approximately 11,000 family food packs.

As the Omicron variant of COVID-19 hits Victoria, Community Response Australia Inc. continues to provide support including food relief to many families otherwise unable to access essentials.
